So happy to have had my first weekend of being able to ride properly on consecutive days since August. Made all the better by beautiful autumnal views. 160 @veloforte fuelled miles bagged, 120 of those solo and although I’m not fit I’m happy with the consistency #cycling #cyclinglife #fromwhereiride #mycyclingweekend #fuelbetter #drag2zero
...Alice Lethbridge, who got back out on the bike 'properly' for the first time since August. 'Properly' means 160 miles when you're a National 100 mile and 12 hour Time Trial Champion.
Makes my cafe ride seem a little unworthy of the slab of cake I ate. Oh well!
Congrats Alice, we'll be in touch.
We were, yet again, sent loads of entries so let's have a look through some of the best.
Too misty round the Beauly Firth this morning so the only option was to climb! The 20% slopes of Ruilick Rise were worth it for the views at the top. #cycling #highlands #roadbike #mycyclingweekend #winteriscoming #roadisthewayoflife #livetoride #strava #stravacycling #outsideisfree
Son of a Marathon runner, Nephew of a National 24hr Champion, the racing genetics have completely passed him by. After joining the road.cc staff in 2016 as a reviewer, Liam quickly started writing feature articles and news pieces. After a little time living in Canada, where he spent most of his time eating poutine, Liam returned with the launch of DealClincher, taking over the Editor role at the start of 2018. At the weekend, Liam can be found racing on the road both in the UK and abroad, though he prefers the muddy fields of cyclocross. To date, his biggest race win is to the front of the cafe queue.
