Video: Italian madcap bike stunt collective Dafne Fixed – the bloopers reel

Their videos have gained a cult following - but it didn't always go perfectly first time round...

With more than 100,000 followers on Instagram, Italian cycling collective Dafne Fixed, based out of the eponymous bike shop in Rimini, have something of a cult status for their videos showcasing some madcap stunts – and we’ve featured a few of them on road.cc over the years.

As you might imagine, though, not everything goes to plan first time around, and one of their latest posts on the social network comprises a series of out-takes that no doubt would have former It’ll Be Alright on the Night host, the late Denis Norden chuckling away while clutching his clipboard.

Hopefully there was nothing more than pride that was hurt in the incidents shown in the clip – so sit back and enjoy (or wince, as the case may be).

Simon joined road.cc as news editor in 2009 and is now the site’s community editor, acting as a link between the team producing the content and our readers. A law and languages graduate, published translator and former retail analyst, he has reported on issues as diverse as cycling-related court cases, anti-doping investigations, the latest developments in the bike industry and the sport’s biggest races. Now back in London full-time after 15 years living in Oxford and Cambridge, he loves cycling along the Thames but misses having his former riding buddy, Elodie the miniature schnauzer, in the basket in front of him.
