#MyCyclingWeekend with Decathlon

We have a bank holiday weekend winner

The May bank holiday weekend gave us 33% more riding availability!

That meant 33% more cake was eaten, probably...

We had a great weekend of riding with a race, a club run and a cafe ride making for a wide range of average speeds!

You all seem to have had an equally enjoyable weekend, but there can be only one winner of the B'Twin cycling cap.

Our winner is David, who has been pedaling around Mallorca in the sun. Try not to feel too sorry for him, someone has to do it.

He's been tackling the Coll dels Reis, better known as Sa Callobra. It's a tough little climb, with the steeper sections towards the top. And there's no way of avoiding it. If you ride down, you've got to ride back up!

Decathlon will be next week with a brand new prize to celebrate the start of the Giro d'Italia, that little race around Italy.

Son of a Marathon runner, Nephew of a National 24hr Champion, the racing genetics have completely passed him by. After joining the road.cc staff in 2016 as a reviewer, Liam quickly started writing feature articles and news pieces. After a little time living in Canada, where he spent most of his time eating poutine, Liam returned with the launch of DealClincher, taking over the Editor role at the start of 2018. At the weekend, Liam can be found racing on the road both in the UK and abroad, though he prefers the muddy fields of cyclocross. To date, his biggest race win is to the front of the cafe queue.
