Storck Pro Full Zip jerseyStorck win iF design award for clothing
Storck have won a prestigious iF product design award for their Pro bib shorts and jersey.
We’ve told you a couple of times recently how German bike brand Storck have released a cycle clothing range.
A winter range is now available but Storck have won their gong for the summer kit that we first saw at Eurobike. The two pieces are called the Short Sleeve Jersey Pro and the Bib Man Pro Cycling Shorts.
An iF design award is an important international mark of recognition. They’re given in 16 different categories, all independently assessed, and judged on criteria including design quality, material selection and functionality. Storck won their award in the Leisure and lifestyle category.
“We are really happy to receive this award after many months of putting the collection together with our staff of ex pro riders and Italian designers,” said Markus Storck. “We have chosen a luxurious combination of technical fabrics with the latest seamless technology, plus a high degree of functional with Italian design flair.”

Mat has been in cycling media since 1996, on titles including BikeRadar, Total Bike, Total Mountain Bike, What Mountain Bike and Mountain Biking UK, and he has been editor of 220 Triathlon and Cycling Plus. Mat has been road.cc technical editor for over a decade, testing bikes, fettling the latest kit, and trying out the most up-to-the-minute clothing. He has won his category in Ironman UK 70.3 and finished on the podium in both marathons he has run. Mat is a Cambridge graduate who did a post-grad in magazine journalism, and he is a winner of the Cycling Media Award for Specialist Online Writer. Now over 50, he's riding road and gravel bikes most days for fun and fitness rather than training for competitions.
