Poor kid. My thoughts go out to his family. Hopefully the usually uninterested @CumbriaPolice will start to respond when cyclists submit reports of dangerous driving.
Whilst the police should do more on reports of dangerous driving, there is no indication currently that this was anything to do with dangerous driving.
Although failing to stop at the scene and render assistance does imply that the driver is attempting to evade justice.
Does it state that elsewhere. Not seeing it here.
No, it doesn't directly state that and I may be jumping to conclusions based on no mention of the driver and the appeal for any witnesses.
I've had a quick search round and most articles quote "No further details about the driver of the car have been released to the media" which is curious.
My thoughts go out to the family and friends of the young lad.
