We're glad these biblical showers appear to have subsided for the time being, and the only downside of this warmer weather is we haven't really got to try out our deep winter kit that's started coming through road.cc Towers! Here are some highlights from our current test pile...

These diddy and nifty lights from Knog look super versatile, and last a whopping 40 hours each on eco flash mode. They can be mounted on your handlebars, forks, steaposts or stays, and can also double up as a wearable light for if you want to take them running. there are five different modes, they're 100% waterproof and they plug directly into USB ports to cut down on wire clutter. SP Connect Saddle Case Set

The SP Connect Saddle case is a weatherproof storage solution with a patented twist and lock mechanism on its mount to attach it. There are also rails on the rear which allows you to fit SP Connect's All-Round safety light (sold separately and shown above) which solves the dilemma of your lights not fitting underneath. Yep it's expensive, but there are also some lofty performance claims that come with this loud and proud lightweight jacket from 7Mesh. It utilises a combination of waterproof fabrics and features a dropped hem to prevent you getting a soaking from road spray. The zip is waterproof, as is the side pocket, and the seams are taped to stop further water ingress. The 7Mesh 'Passthrough' vents allow you access jersey pockets without compromising the protection. It's also fully packable so you can stowe it in your pockets until it's needed in a downpour.

100% Brisker Cold Weather Glove Fluoro Orange

The brand that brought you Sagan's larger-than-life shades also do some pretty eccentric gloves too, with these fluoro orange numbers promising a perfect amount of insulation to block out damp and cold weather.
