Cycling Weekly Welsh Raider Sportive
Based at the medieval Castle Town of Ludlow in the beautiful county of Shropshire, this long “rolling” sportive has everything expected of a challenging sportive.
All routes after leaving Ludlow Racecourse turn West towards the hills of the Welsh border which rise up in the distance, they are soon reached via the quiet Welsh Marches roads, which take the riders over the ancient Bronze age Kerry Ridgeway, and Offa’s Dyke, before entering Wales. Montgomery is the first turning point as the route follows the River Severn towards Abermule, where the route points back toward the English border, and the long challenging switch back climb through the forest of Ceri, up to the Border crossing at Anchor. Riders are then rewarded by a long marvellous decent down towards the banks of the river and village of Clun, and it’s famous medieval castle and bridge.
Standard riders then make their way back to a warm welcome at the Racecourse, while Epic riders explore further the beauty of Shropshire before joining them

He did try to run cyclists off the road. He has both poor impulse control and poor aim.
