The Kitsons Devon Classic Bike Ride 2014, in association with David Lloyd Club Exeter, has a challenge for all abilities and will have three different and challenging routes, covering miles of the beautiful Devon country side on Sunday July 20, 2014. The three one day rides are designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a challenge and at the same time raise some much appreciated funds for highly deserving charities. Riders taking on the rides will have all food and support provided on route. The Kitsons Devon Classic Bike Ride support team aim to take care of everything, so that riders can just concentrate on the event and enjoy the personal challenge ahead of them.
The event will start and finish at David Lloyd Club Exeter Sandy Park, where all your supporters, friends and family will have the opportunity to see you go over the finish line from the event village, after your fantastic achievement. The final stage of the event this year has been changed and riders will be given the choice of the regular easier route home or a tough guy route and the choice will be yours on the day and all riders will receive medals for all three rides.
All pit stops will be hosted by local charity volunteers and they will be ready and waiting to recharge your batteries with plenty of food, drinks and the hospitality that only the Kitsons Devon Classic Bike Ride can give. This new and exciting event is designed for all competitors to have fun; meet new friends and get a real sense of achievement by competing in and finishing one of the Kitsons Devon Classic fantastic routes.
The 2014 event will be raising funds for Hospiscare which is a Devon based local charity. For those of you that want to raise funds for your own charity, please feel free to do so.
