Video: Aussie driver goes off-road to undertake cyclists – and almost hits horse riders
The Australian Cycling Alliance has published footage shot by one of its members in which a motorist bounces off road to undertake a group of cyclists, narrowly missing a couple of horse riders in the process.
The footage, captured on a country road south of Perth on Monday, shows a group riding two abreast.
They move to the right as they approach a couple of horse riders on the left-hand side of the road so as not to spook the horses.
As they move back towards the left-hand side of the road, they’re shocked to see that an impatient driver is undertaking them.
Edward Hore, the president of the organisation, said that the car had been travelling behind the cyclists for 'seconds' before the driver made the crazy manoeuvre.
“He could have killed people. He almost lost control of his car. You can see his back wheels pop up. It's madness.”
Hore was speaking to Daily Mail Australia.

Australian drivers are worse than Russian drivers, self entitled pricks backed up by the police who are only just behind US plod when it comes to bias/discrimation/harassment of people on bikes an failing to uphold the law.
The comments are unsurprising including ones on the YT vid which say "Cyclists can die for all I care"
Oddly enough I was idling some time away watching Aussie road rage and police vids on Youtube today. Mad Max could have been set in no other country, uncouth animals, raging and confrontational all the way. One of the comments from an Aussie said 80% of the people were like that and only 20% were decent.
The Daily Mail has set up an Australian edition? Finally! Like Sean Connery says in The Untouchables, if they pull a knife, you need to pull a gun. So, they gave us Rupert Murdoch, we're giving them the paper that hurrahed the Blackshirts. That's the Chicago Way. Now, how about exporting Hollyoaks in retaliation for sending us Neighbours?

I thought Brit drivers were pretty stupid, but Aussie drivers make them look like paragons of virtue. Almost all of them blame the cyclists and either ignore the crass driving or condone it.
Good to know the Daily Mail hates all cyclists and not just us in the UK
