Over the next few months cycle clothing company Vulpine plans to introduce its first new styles since being acquired by new owners.
Vulpine, which focuses mostly on urban clothing, has been acquired by North Lane Group, a subsidiary of SportPursuit. Vulpine is one of a group of standalone brands NLG own.
This will start with a reworked merino wool range (pictured) – which will include some new and some redesigned pieces – a new take on the Portixol Waterproof Jacket (we reviewed the Hoy Vulpine Men's Portixol Waterproof Jacket back in 2016), a totally new commuting backpack, and a tweaked Harrington (we reviewed a previous version four years ago). More is promised after that.
"We've been hard at work getting previous favourite styles back up and running and putting new ideas into development," says Mark Lockie, Partnerships & Social Manager at Vulpine.
"We're very much alive and kicking, but we want to ensure we take the brand back to where it once was in a sensible, financially sustainable manner, with a focus on quality.
"Whilst we've sorted a lot of customer issues that arose during our 'turbulent' period, we'd encourage any of your readers that still have outstanding issues to get in touch via support [at] vulpine.cc. We'll do our best to sort everything we can, even if it relates to the previous owners (or previous, previous owners!)."
Vulpine entered administration back in 2017, and was then acquired by Mango Bikes before eventually moving to North Lane Group.
