Depends - there was another H&R in Leicester yesterday, this time on a pedestrian. That's drawn an attempted murder charge but I suspect that's due to fact he's also been charged with breaching a restraining order.

That's terrible news. It'll be really difficult for the woman to come to terms with a horrible incident like this. As for the driver, he shouldn't ever be allowed behid the wheel again. A manslaughter charge would be appropriate.

Very sad news. My sympathy goes out to the victims. I truely hope that the "justice system" lives up to its name in this case.

Out on bail and probably driving around in his killing machine.

Even if convivted he will shortly be back on the roads driving around in his killing machine.

Something has to change. Too many lives are being ruined.

Disgusting scum, manslaughter charges plus with aggravating factors should see this POS banged away for a very long time if the police can find the animal!

Awful news. If the driver was over the limit what other f#@# circumstances are they looking for??? Some potential that the cyclist threw herself under a drunk drivers car and therefore its the cyclists fault? The driver should be in custody for committing what is now manslaughter.

Utterly tragic. The victim is in her forties so she may not have another chance of pregnancy.
How do irresponsible drivers like this scumbag ever live with themselves afterwards? What's so depressing is that we know already the punishment won't fit the crime.
