London-based cycle retailer Action Bikes has entered a partnership with a specialist injury rehabilitation and claims management company, CyClaim, to enable the chain’s customers to benefit from legal and medical advice should they be involved in an accident while out riding.
The chain operates five stores throughout the capital, at Victoria, Embankment, Wimbledon, Sheen and Whitton, and leaflets detailing CyClaim’s services can be picked up at any of those branches, while further information is also available on its website.
CyClaim has been set up by a doctor who is a specialist in treating pain who also happens to be a keen cyclist, and services offered include no-win, no-fee claims handling, medical advice and recovery programmes, plus a repair and/or replacement scheme for damaged bikes.
Although membership of organisations such as British Cycling or CTC also brings the benefit of access to legal advice, Action Bikes says that it aims to provide a “one-stop shop” to help cyclists who have been involved in an accident get back in the saddle.
“It’s great to join forces with Action Bikes,” said Emma Marshall, Business Development Manager at CyClaim. “They’re a company with a great reputation in the London area and we aim to serve their customers with the high level of service they’d expect during difficult times of cycle accidents.”
Tony Verby from Action Bikes added: “CyClaim is a great option for our customers and Londoners; they understand the requirements of cyclists just as we do and we hope they help our customers get back on their bikes again."
CyClaim says that it is “committed to supporting cycling at all levels,” including sponsorship of the amateur teams Inverse/CyClaim and Herbalife/Wheelbase.
