Tour Ride Worcestershire; the Official Sportive of the Tour of Britain
The Tour Ride Worcestershire; the Official Sportive of the Tour of Britain will be returning to Worcestershire in October 2016. This unique sportive gives riders the opportunity to take on the challenge of a Tour of Britain inspired route, including riding under the Tour of Britain finish arch. All three of the routes have been painstakingly put together by the same team that bring you the Tour of Britain professional race each September, with rider enjoyment of paramount importance. Well stocked feed stations supported by the same partners as the elite race, friendly staff, support vehicles, an event village and mechanics will all be on site on the day to add to the enjoyment of the day!
With the option of three routes on offer, a 40-mile Challenge, 75-mile Intermediate & 100-mile Pro there is a distance for everyone! Taking in breath-taking scenery and routes used by some of the greatest riders in the world on the Tour of Britain in 2014, including iconic climbs in the Malvern Hills. With all routes setting off from alongside the banks of the River Severn and heading out into the iconic Worcestershire countryside before hitting the finish straight located at Worcester Racecourse.

This was in my local park and dogs are allowed off-lead. Cyclists are required to ride slowly and give due care and attention as it happens.
