This stunning sportive centred around the market town of Kelso is not one to miss. Kelso is a border town and when you Think of the Scottish Borders you think of big open spaces, heather-clad hills, hundreds of square miles of forests and woodland, lochs and rivers and idyllic roads for cyclists making the perfect place for the Scottish Wanderer.
Starting out from the Border Union Showground which will be playing host to the Scottish Caravan Club Rally and Cyclefest. You will start off by following the river Tweed and cross the river at the town of Coldstream the course is a circular route where you will pass through neighboring villages of Swintonmill, Leitholm, Eccles, Hume, Fans, Smailholm, Makertoun before arriving back at the showground to finish.
There are two-course options which follow the same route however at the village of Eccles it will be signposted to either continue on the Challenge course or follow the signs for the shorter distance Standard course.
