The Straducale Gran Fondo in Urbino

This one is for the climbers, and if you missed out on getting a spot in the Maratona Dolomiti, then the Staducale is the Gran Fondo not to be missed.
It starts in the ancient walled, university city of Urbino.
With the Tre Monti climbs of Monte Petrano, Monte Catria and Monte Nerone it's the ultimate test of the Straducale.
A charming but very tough race.
The Gran Fondo is of 200 kilometers with an altitude gain of 4,600 metres.
There is also alternative shorter routes of 130 and 73 kilometers.
Most of the shared-use path alongside the A369 from Pill to Rownham Hill (and the Clifton suspension bridge) is about 1.5 metres wide… Just sayin'

I'm going to say it needs to be higher than that flimsy thing can take....
Maybe they are but its their relative scale etc; a small lbs hasnt a number of shops that will support the disruption or the cashflow to ease...

In some respects, I prefer that design to the cyclepods as they're not pretending to be something they're not. They suffer from being wheel-bending...
