The 2014 Meon Valley Riser will roll out of the wonderful grounds of Boundary Oak on Sunday 6th April. Brought to you by the organisers of the New Forest Rattler, the Riser is an excellent early season challenge with some stunning scenery and awesome climbs including Butser Hill and Old Winchester Hill.
Following the success of the 2013 event, we will again be sending riders clockwise around the Meon Valley with the major climbs coming during the first half of the course(s). There is a fantastically fast 10 mile section towards the latter part of this event, which we're sure you will all love. However, we are still including Portsdown Hill - a.k.a the Lactivator - 3 miles from the finish, we couldn't resist a little sting in the tail!
The friendliness and hospitality at our events is what we are known best for and 2014 will be no different. We are keeping our policy of including food for riders as part of the entry fee. At the Riser you'll be offered a porridge breakfast and jacket potatoes with cheese and baked beans on completion.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 6th April!
