Yes I know that. I can read the article that I posted. The fact is that many motorists like to wave their wee bit of paper in cyclists faces and point out that the cyclist has nothing attached to their bike. I think it's a good idea on a lot of counts. One of them being that the discs will cease to be stolen. I've always found it strange that unless you look carefully there is no way of determining that the disc belongs to the vehicle. On the flip side. What warden is going to check every single vehicle on their beat has valid VED.
They haven't scrapped the tax, just the bit of paper. It still has to be paid!!
