Video Interview: Emma Pooley talks to road.cc

Olympic silver medallist tells us about her new team and plans for the future

Today we speak to Olympic silver medallist, Emma Pooley, about her move to the new Cervelo Test Team, and her goals for this season and beyond. Pooley's performance in the 2007 World Championships, where she finished 9th in the road race and 8th in the time trial helped Team GB secure it place in the Olympic road race and time trial the following year.

She enjoyed a good season last year but the high point was at the Olympics with Team GB. Emma's efforts in the road race were in support of Nicole Cooke's successful bid for the gold, she really went for it in the time trial to pick up silver behind Karin Armstrong of the UK. Armstrong is now her team mate at Cervelo.
