Watch the Tour at look mum no hands!

New London café-bar-workshop for cyclists offers alternative to Rapha Cycle Club

London cyclists looking for somewhere to watch the Tour de France with like-minded souls are now spoiled for choice. As well as the Rapha Cycle Club on Clerkenwell Road there’s look mum no hands!, a new bicycle café-bar-workshop on Old Street.

The racing will be shown live on a big screen and then replayed every morning and evening.

look mum no hands! opened in April this year and is embracing all things French for the duration of the race. French food and wine will be available at special Tour de France prices and there’s a programme of events that includes a film night on Wednesday 21 July and a chance to win amazing prizes from Condor and Mavic on 11 July.

For the penultimate day, the individual time trial on Saturday 24 July, there will be a barbecue and fancy dress party.

look mum no hands! is at 49 Old Street and it's open from 07.30-22.00 Monday to Friday, 09.00-22.00 Saturday and 10.00-22.00 Sunday. Find out more on their website.

Went there yesterday after reading about it on here. Wish I hadn't bothered.

It was lunchtime, the tour wasn't on - they ITV4 on a screen you couldn't see, but the tour coverage doesn't start until 2.30. Ordered drinks, they never arrived. Then the staff kicked up a heck of fuss when I asked for the drinks or the money back.

My advice is go the Rapha place, it's only a minute away by bike.

Top venue. Went there last time I visited the smoke. There should be more places like this all around the country. Chapeau to all at LMNH. If you're anywhere near London get down there. Great atmosphere, even better coffee.
