Sagan. What can I say.... he's great!
Cyclists and their drugs, ey.
Watch the video that plays after too.
You're putting words into my mouth up there! Or near as damn it given they're typed!
Sad to see yet another doping controversy in cycling: http://www.news.com.au/technology/science/human-body/endurance-athletes-...
Omloop was the classic example in Pro Racing where the smartest beats the strongest...
He really is the best! Funny (look at his smile under the beard) and entertaining on and off the bike, AND the rainbowstripes. Loved how the first thing he ate after the finish line was a handful og Haribo gummybears!
I too was also eating Haribos through the race whilst lying on the sofa.
It was utterly exhausting.
Legend!
Definitely more entertaining than those who are "media trained".
I like him, and cavendish too. They generally say whatever they think, kind of refreshing. Some of these interviewers could be more imaginative though.
That's just Sagan: takes time with his English, but even then one of the more open and entertaining cyclists in interviews, albeit ready to answer a yes/no question suitably if he thinks the journalist is overreaching.
Just watched live the end of Kuurne which he won and noticed that one of his support team couldn't wait to pour something into Peter's hand for him to eat as soon as he finished. He shovelled more down later. Yes the bag might be recognisable but the contents might not have been the original contents of the bag. Only a type 1 diabetic would need a sugar rush so urgently. Perhaps cycling officials should keep the team away until samples have been taken.
Interesting also that comments are disabled for yesterday's video. Is the sport of cycling straight? Beginning to wonder...
You're an idiot.
You're an idiot.

Of course he is, only and an idiot or naieve fool would be 'beginning to wonder' if Road Cycling was actually a straight sport.
You've obviously never had the knock/bonked...
aww, he was a bit embarrassed to come second!
Give the man a break.
He didn't seem stoned to me. More like completely and utterly done with everyone's shit in general, and this interviewer's in particular. I know how he feels. Still, it is a common mistake to perceive sportspeople as being wiser than the average twenty-something, because they are at the top of their highly specialised field, despite most having spent almost their entire lives exercising their muscles rather than their minds. Sagan seems smarter than most, but that doesn't mean he's immune to having the occasional strop, or showing a typical millennial's interest in daft hair styles.
someone with a 'stomach complaint' would already know that...
team making excuses perhaps
Yeah like yours probably.
He was knackered and speaking a foreign language, I think he did pretty damned well.
Is there a special course, for sports journalists, entitled "How to ask professional cyclists bloody stupid questions after a big race."?
That is classic!
"Stomach problems?"
'Nah, I don't think so......pizza, yeah get me a slice and some nachos...and a chilli dog....dude!!"
Videos of people out of it. My kind of thread.
