The Metropolitan Police is looking to trace a cyclist who intervened during an early hours altercation in Shoreditch in October.
At around 2.30am on October 12, a 35-year-old man was involved in an altercation with two other men in Paul Street and ended up on the floor with a deep laceration to his jaw.
A passing cyclist stepped in and caused the two other men to make off on foot. He then helped the victim into a black cab.
Detectives from Hackney CID are keen to trace the cyclist as he is likely to be a crucial witness. The force emphasised that he is in no way considered a suspect. Officers need to speak to him to further clarify what happened.
A spokesperson said that two males, both aged in their early 20s, were arrested on November 18 on suspicion of GBH and have been released under investigation. Nobody has been charged at this stage.

Are you blind, can't you see the difference? The one suffered injuries and the other one suffered injuries. 100% different cases, it is obvious!
