Levi’s extend Commuter Series of clothes for cycling

Levi’s are continuing their Commuter Series of clothing for urban cyclists into their Spring 2013 range, proving that cycling is very much part of the mainstream these days.

We’ve shown you a lot of the clothing before, including the Commuter Trucker Jacket, but not this version with a concealed nylon hood (£115). The stretch twill fabric (98% cotton, 2% elastane) has a NanoSphere water-resistant and dirt-repellent finish and it’s odour resistant too. You get reflective 3M Scotchlite tape on adjustable side tabs and the shoulders have gussets for extra mobility when you stretch forward to the bars – so several genuinely bike-specific features. It’s available in Performance Ivy (green) and Chambray (dark blue).

The cotton/nylon Commuter Parka (£105) comes with a hood too, along with several zip pockets and a back vent. This is the Coral Red version and it’s available in black too.

The 511 Slim Commuter jeans (£80) and trousers (£70) are still available, joined by 505 Straight Fit Commuter Jeans (£85). These have a little elastane in there to help them stretch, along with U-lock storage on the waistband and a double-layered seat. You also get reflective 3M Scotchlite tape on interior cuffs which will show when you turn the hems up.

There are a few shorts and crop trousers in the range too, including the Commuter Cargo Pants at £85 (main pic) and the 511 Slim Commuter shorts (£60, above). They all have the same NanoSphere protective finish.

This Commuter Graphic T-shirt is available in green, white and black for £30. It comes with a water, dirt and stain repellent 3XDRY finish and underarm vents to help you stay cool
