British Summer Time, just saw the last daylight on the way back from work until March. Nice stuff, I'm in. Any chance of including the 'PoshBike' 4.2kg bike?
Autumn – mainly for the spectacular colours of the leaves on and beside the road. Not anyone like chilly breezes especially on morning rides, but it gives you a feeling of freshness going through your whole body.
Spring.It's when the classics start.
Dark, wet, early mornings in the winter, zipping through town lit up like a Christmas tree on my fixie.
Summer! Give me sunshine, blue skies and a long, long climb!
I like the transition from Summer to Autumn.
spring because it is still warm enough to get out there and enjoy the ride.
Winter. Because i love technical clothing/marketing hype.
easy; summer. Tuesday club rides that are still light by the end...
A mid-summer's evening ride after work, when the wind has dropped and the sun is low in the sky. A few like-minded individuals out on their bikes but no cars commuting. Catching a sunset on the return leg you hear the birds going to bed and realise there's nowhere else you'd rather be at that moment, than in the English countryside in summer.
As much as I love the crisp, sunny November mornings, it has got to be late Spring when the sun really starts to come out. Glorious Britain...
May- best
Got to be Spring for me
Autumn and short sharp hill climbs. No more pretending to like long hot metric struggles, no longer do I fear the man with the hammer. My weekly mileage has faded with the sun and a lung busting hour is plenty enough to warm my cheeks and put a smile on my face.
Clearly there are three seasons on the cycling calendar: classic season, grand tour season, and cross season. I'm going to go with cross season.
Spring. Once the possibility of ice disappears and it's safe to use normal tyres.

Late Autumn mornings at 6am when it's still pitch dark, but not too cold and the roads are quiet...
The first warm day of spring, to break out the short sleeved jerseys
Not so much a season as months - Feb/March. It's when the snow usually hits, you're coming out of the winter training, but spring hasn't quite come in yet. Roads are eerily silent, with just the hum of wheels, and the atmosphere is electric with anticipation. Every person has the same look on their face, and there are simply silent recognitions of why you are out on the road. It's like the first cup of coffee and breakfast at dawn on a big ride day.
Crisp winter days with cloudless blue skies, leafless hedgerows, quiet country lanes, save for the swish of the club cyclists tyres.
Spring. I'm an optimist!
Winter - it's always entertaining to see which balls go first: yours and or the brass monkeys!
I love the spring, because the first time I leave the office without putting my lights on is how I know that things are starting to get lovely again.
Mid summer - running near full fitness and not yet getting fatigued. Long nights for club rides without lights.
Summer. I get to wear shorts!
Spring - days are getting longer. Crisp mornings. Knowing you have a few months to get your fitness up for long Summer runs.
Spring - it's fresh & clear and you can get the proper bike off the turbo and back on the roads. Plus you can make big performance gains in short amounts of time as your fitness returns.
Spring - on a crisp morning when sunrise coincides with me going over Waterloo bridge
I like them all as long as it's not wet. Autumn's good though for blue skies and bowling along with a tailwind making the leaves tumble along with you.
