I'd say spring. Not as hot and sweaty as the height of summer but you're over the worst that winter has thrown at you and its just gonna get better...until you realise you still live in Britain
Summer - out riding early mornings or late nights
Spring - first outing in shorts and short sleeve top and feeling the wind against your skin
Late Spring for me!
Summer - the only time I cam ride after work!
Summer.No Doubt.
I like autumn, but I often find myself thinking "I wish I didn't have to carry back up clothes for when I invariably get rained on".
But then there is winter, but then I also find myself thinking "I wish I didn't have to carry back up clothes for when I invariably get rained on".
I also enjoy riding in spring, seeing things come back to life but then there is always that nagging thought of "I wish I didn't have to carry back up clothes for when I invariably get rained on".
And then there is summer, longer days, shorter nights, yet still that irritating thought of "I wish I didn't have to carry back up clothes for when I invariably get rained on".
Really, in Manchester we don't actually have seasons, just varying temperatures of rain.
spring
Early Autumn, North Kent Coast with a walk on the beach & an ice cream at the end
Late spring, when the sun is strong enough to start working on those sharp tan lines
spring as I have to work hard to get fit for summer
All four!
Stupid question. Obviously summer. Getting wet on a bike is not fun and having to clean the bike once finished is a chore.
Summer as you dont have to wear as much clothing. Winter as its more interesting with the variable weather.
sorry to be predictable, but its got to be summer. Dry! warm and I get to ride in france every year.
The cycling season (everytime I get on my bike).
Early in the morning autumn. Cold fresh air with fog has something magical.
I like riding in the winter on cold crisp morings, waiting for the temperature to creep abover freezing.
Summer evenings, when it's hot but not burning.
bright crisp autumn and winters days are my favourite, when I can see my breath and riding warms me from the inside out. plus being outside on a cold sunny day shakes off the winter blues
Hot, hot summer is the best. Pouring with sweat up a long Continental climb on smooooth tarmac with the "chi chi chi" of the cicadas to accompany you is the best feeling in the world.
Spring
Crisp, clear autumn mornings
Spring > Summer > Autumn > Winter
My favourite time to ride is early summer mornings.
However I also enjoy the challenge of riding the the changeable Autumn and winter months.
Winter miles = summer smiles
Fall
winter - cause i'm a mental hardcase
Autumn, baby, autumn. Starting to get colder, fresh, windy days. What's not to like?
Definitely Spring. Crisp mornings with the thrill still there that you might encounter snow!
Spring, for sure.
