Frank Vandenbroucke RIP

Belgian cyclist Frank Vandenbroucke has been found dead in a hotel room in Senegal according to a report from the Yahoo network.

The former classics winner had been suffering from depression for a long period of time but no cause of death has been established as yet.

Very exciting prospect when he first came on the scene, before he went into the downward spiral, could have been one of the greats... sad news indeed.

It is true, they are suggesting a pulmonary embalism, but not confirmed -

Always bad news to hear something like this, if its true then it is a sad day for cycling.
