Starting just down the road from the city, we are bombarded with beautiful countryside from the start. This ride should offer something for everyone, with 4 different route options on relatively quick terrain. The route is one of our less hilly rides, and is predominantly rolling country roads, with parts just a stone’s throw from the famous tour a few days prior. Pretty villages, quiet roads and far reaching, open countryside make this a great summer challenge.
But the risk of death while cycling is the same as for walking for distance travelled. All depends on how you measure or perceive risk.
Thats not a defence (ironically). Everyone is paid to do their job. Some peoples job is to destroy the environment and ruin the future of billions...
