Igloo Cyclosportive | Dark & White Cycling
New venue! New route! Same name
The Igloo Sportive is back for a 3rd year with a new start venue and a completely new route providing a fresh road biking challenge in and around the Eastern Peak District.
The new 132km long route (with a total of 2400m of climb) goes clockwise from Chesterfield this time heading initially south towards Crich and then turning north towards Rowsley before heading off “Trans Peak” in the direction of Sheffield via Chatsworth Park and the superb climb over Curbar Gap – other notable climbs including the ascents of Dethick (Matlock), Sir William Hill (Grindleford) and the not to be missed Beeley Hillside on the final leg to the finish. The shorter 66km (but no less interesting!) route has 1270m of climb and is basically the southern loop of the longer ride.
