This is a cycle event for all the family to get all ages and abilities riding around the unique countryside and common land of the Cotswolds
The event features:
- A fully marshalled Sportive over 2 distances (long, accessible)
- A family cycle ride on quiet roads and common land
- A series of fun events, stalls and competitions
- Local hot and cold food and drink
Participation is the key, with all ages and abilities catered for.
The Sportive
Two routes around quiet roads and lanes through the glorious Cotswolds. Taking on the lesser explored areas of the Cotswolds the route has a few hills to stretch the legs, but achievable (if challenging) for everyone. The Hilly 60 tackles some of the areas bigger hills, whilst the Accessible 30 is aimed at those just starting out on a sportive adventure, or simply those who want a warm up before the main summer season kicks in.
Returning to site you'll find local hot food and drink, events for the kids, a ride across the common with the family, and our annual bike jumble - bag a bargain, or clear out your shed. See the website for more details. info [at] cotswoldcogfest.com
All monies go to supporting the Minchinhampton school PTA sports funds.
