RideSB100 offers four distinct courses to suit a range of cycling abilities – each course offering a world-class Santa Barbara cycling experience!
All courses start along the beach and follow the beautiful Santa Barbara beachfront before turning inland to experience all Santa Barbara has to offer. Cyclists will wind through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country; experience the rolling foothills lined with citrus and avocado orchards and climb some of the most famous mountains in the country, all while experiencing some of the most beautiful views in southern California.

100 mile - 9,000' of climbing:
The 100-mile course is one of the most beautiful and challenging 100 miles of riding you may ever accomplish! The route includes the Santa Barbara waterfront, the foothills of Carpinteria and Montecito, a notoriously difficult Hill Climb, and the flatlands of Goleta before finishing back at Chase Palm Park. All 100 milers will receive an exclusive Finisher Coin at the 100mi turnaround and the option to provide a custom nutrition bag for use on the course. All 100 milers have the option to provide a custom nutrition bag to be utilized on the ride at the 100-mile turnaround.
Experienced or properly trained cyclists only - View Course
100 km + Hill Climb - 7,000' of climbing:
62 miles of some of the most spectacular riding Santa Barbara has to offer. Includes the notoriously difficult Hill Climb through the mountains of Santa Barbara without riding the full 100 mi distance!

Intermediate to experienced level cyclists - View Course
34 miles - 2,200' of climbing:
Ride through some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the country before turning inland to experience the back roads and rolling foothills of Santa Barbara with a few short climbs along the way.
Beginner to intermediate level cyclists - View Course
Virtual 100-mile Challenge:
For riders who can't make it to Santa Barbara but still want to participate and benefit MOVE! Complete your 100-mile challenge distance anytime between October 16 and October 22, and post your results to the virtual leaderboard. Included rider bib, official 2023 RideSB100 t-shirt, official 2023 RideSB100 water bottle, official RideSB100 musette bag, virtual 100-mile challenge leaderboard access, and shipping. Rider items will be shipped the week of October 16.
