GT have dropped prices across a range of their bikes.
Cycling Sports Group, who distribute GT, Cannondale, Charge, Schwinn and various other brands in the UK, said in a statement, “We are pleased to announce that due to increased efficiencies in procurement that our GT Sensor, Force and GTS bikes have revised, lower RRP’s well ahead of the prime selling season.”
Sensor and Force are both mountain bike ranges while GTS is a road bike range.
The GTS Elite drops from £1,049.99 to £999.99, the GTS Expert goes from £949.99 to £799, the GTS Comp that was £749.99 is now £699, and the formerly £649.99 GTS Sport is now £599.
The biggest price drop, then, is that of the GTS Expert (main picture, now £799). This is built around a hydroformed alloy frame with a carbon/alu fork. The groupset is mostly Shimano Tiagra with an FSA Vero Compact chainset and Tektro dual pivot brakes.

The GTS Elite (above), now priced at £999.99 so accessible via most Cycle to Work schemes, has the same frame and fork but with a Shimano 105-based groupset with an FSA Gossamer Compact chainset, Tektro R340 brake calipers, and Shimano R501 wheels.
