The early races have been a lot of fun, but for many the professional season doesn't properly begin until the Spring Classics start, and that's this coming Saturday! We've got an expanded Classics competition this year, featuring 12 races and the chance to win some great prizes from Wiggle.
Play Fantasy Cycling with road.cc and Wiggle!
This year the following races are included in the Fantasy competition:
1st March Omloop het Nieuwsblad
2nd March Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne
8th March Strade Bianche
9th March Roma Maxima
23rd March Milan - San Remo
28th March E3 Harelbeke
30th March Gent - Wevelgem
6th April Ronde van Vlaanderen
13th April Paris - Roubaix
20th April Amstel Gold
23rd April Fleche Wallonie
27th April Liege - Bastogne - Liege
So it's an earlier start than previous years, where we've kicked off with Milan - San Remo. Should be fun!
Over £1,400 of prizes up for grabs
There's great prizes to be won at the Spring Classics this year. The top two teams will get dhb kit bundles worth £500 and £250 respectively, and third place will get a selection of Lifeline products worth £125. On top of that there's a set of dhb triple lens sunglasses for every race winner along the way.
You could win just by taking part!
That's right: enter a Fantasy team for the Spring Classics and you'll be entered into a draw to win the raffle prize, which is a dhb kit bundle worth £200. Just for picking a team! It doesn't even have to be any good.
Unlimited transfers this year
This year we've made the decision to have unlimited transfers between each race in the Spring Classics. That'll make it a lot more straightforward and should mean less confusion about who can make transfers, and when.
That means that there's no purist competition, as every team will effectively be a purist team: they're allowed to make changes in each unlimited window. If you're a premium member you'll still be able to enter two teams. If you want to play a 'proper' purist Spring Classics comp, there's one going on in the forum.
