Video: Geraint Thomas interviews Sir Dave Brailsford

It’s hopefully a good few years until Geraint Thomas thinks about retiring, but the Team Sky rider already seems to be thinking about a future broadcasting career – and here, in his latest video uploaded to YouTube, he interviews team principal Sir Dave Brailsford.

Given this week’s events, with defending champion Chris Froome crashing out of the race forcing Sky to rethink their strategy and focus around Richie Porte as the new team leader, the pair seem in remarkably good spirits.

Questions include which sport Brailsford would have liked to pursue had he not gone into cycling – the answer, perhaps surprisingly, is boxing – and which race he would most like to have won, to which he replies “Milan-San Remo.”

There’s also a prediction of who will win today’s Tour de France Stage 8, plus a diplomatic answer to who Team Sky’s best rider is, but you’ll have to watch the video to find out Brailsford's responses to those questions.
