Video: Six of the best steel road bikes

Are these six of the best 2015 steel road bikes? We think they're right up there

Steel bikes are still real right? We certainly think so, some of our favourite bikes feature frames made from steel tubing. This video is our roundup of six of the best steel bikes from the Eurobike show in Germany last month. It's far from a comprehensive list, there are noticeable exceptions like the Genesis Volare and others that we could have stuck in, but they weren't exhibiting at that show, so we couldn't. And didn't.

Make sure to have a look at our Six of the Best Road Bikes and Six of the Best Disc Road Bikes also.

David worked on the road.cc tech team from 2012-2020. Previously he was editor of Bikemagic.com and before that staff writer at RCUK. He's a seasoned cyclist of all disciplines, from road to mountain biking, touring to cyclo-cross, he only wishes he had time to ride them all. He's mildly competitive, though he'll never admit it, and is a frequent road racer but is too lazy to do really well. He currently resides in the Cotswolds, and you can now find him over on his own YouTube channel David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes

Glad Shand made it in there at the last minute, was about to say that's not a very patriotic selection. That Cinelli though - hubba, hubba!
