Got a bike? Like to party? Head to the first ibikelondon night ride of the year

Music bikes, dance stops and all the London sights - what better way to celebrate Spring?

ibikelondon’s popular night ride parties are about to begin again - so celebrate the beginning of Spring with a Friday night cycle to music.

Meeting at London’s BFI Southbank at 7pm, the ride will take off half an hour later and head off around the capital’s sights, with a number of music bikes banging out some tunes.

There will be some dance stops along the ways and participants are encouraged to dress up and festoon their bikes with lights.

The route can be found here.

Check out the event’s Facebook page for more information - and cancellation details if the weather is unkind.

The event is a free ride and everyone can join, with no need to register. There will be stops along the way and you may want to bring food and drinks.

Aren't there two distinct I Bike London's?

There's I LDN / @ibikeldn on twitter / ibikelondon.com which is promoted by Cyclehoop and does these rides and a few other related activities.

And then there's Mark Ames / @markbikeslondon on twitter / ibikelondon.blogspot.co.uk who did the Tour Du Danger and writes regularly about cycling in London.

I am eternally grateful that I live a long, long way away from such tomfoolery.
