#mycyclingweekend - The Ride Harder weekend

How are those summer legs coming along? We know, we know, the weather hasn't been ideal and it's been tough to get in the saddle to get those training miles in. But don't worry, road.cc and Cycle Surgery are here to help you this #mycyclingweekend.

For those of you with fair weather legs, there should be a few sunny spells dotted about this #mycyclingweekend, but there are showers forecast all over the country - it's going to be hard.

Which means you're going to have to ride harder.

It's worth considering, before you write yourself out of this competition, that everything is relative.

The winner of this #mycyclingweekend competition isn't necessarily going to be the wannabe-pro who's got legs of steel and has lashed their way up a climb in freezing rain - although if that sounds like you, a photo that adequately does that experience justice would take some beating.

The winner could be anyone who goes over and above this #mycyclingweekend.

Perhaps this weekend will mark the first #mycyclingweekend you spend in the saddle in 2016, perhaps it'll be the furthest you've ever ridden, maybe it'll be a big step on your climb to first-time fitness, It could even be the first time you've braved the rain on a training ride.

Whatever your achievement might be this #mycyclingweekend, if it feels big to you, it'll feel big to us!
