#MyCyclingWeekend with Decathlon - Your RideLondon Pics!

Well done to everyone who finished, but there can only be one winner of the B'Twin cap...

This week's #MyCyclingWeekend was a big one.

Closed roads in the heart of London and loads of riders heading out into the Surrey hills for what is one of the best cycling events on the calendar.

Ride London is one of the most popular cycling events in the world and it seems pretty popular with you guys too.

Our winner this week completed her first Ride London and walks away with the shiny medal and a B'Twin RoadR cycling cap.

If someone 3 years ago told me I’d be doing 100 miles bike rides for fun, I’d laugh at them. Back then, it all sounded crazy and unnatural and I didn’t understand why people do that and go through this pain... so when @andrei.ozo did many prudential 100 mile rides I thought he was absolutely crazy! Fast-forward and here I am... Doing my first @ridelondon . It actually wasn’t any more my first or second or even third 100 mile ride - I already stopped counting them. But it was my first London classics which obv feels special. Was I nervous? Of course I was! When you train for something, you do want to see the results... and so, this marks my fastest ever ride on my old Fuji bike - 5.5h of cycling with an average speed of 29km/h (18mph), whilst the first 2h I did at a 32 kmp (19.9 mph) pace. Insane. Was it the hardest ride I’ve done? Absolutely not. It was the fastest, but I find harder rides being hilly rides so my Kent rides are much harder than #leithhill or #boxhill even though some people were walking (not cycling) up... I also don’t have a speed tracker so I was cycling at this pace without realising it. Feeling quite satisfied with the result, despite the fact my legs already hurt... Needless to say I finished the ride much earlier than I thought I would . . . . . . . . . . #londoncycling #ridelondon #ridelondon2019 #100miles #sportive #londonclassics #WomensCycling #womeninsport #womencycling #cyclinggirls #bikesgirls #womenonbikes #womens100 #ridingistheanswer #rideeatsleeprepeat #EnjoyTheRide #fromwhereiride #beautyofcycling #cyclingculture #cyclingstagram #cyclinglife #cyclingphotos #cyclingphotography #cyclingshots #cyclingpics #cyclinglife #mycyclingweekend #cyclingmotivation
