Duell frames come to UK

Customised steel bikes from Holland now available

Bikesales4u are now distributing steel frames from Duell. The Dutch brand has been designing and custom-building racing and trekking frames by hand for over 30 years.

The 2011 Duell range consists of the Passion, Passion Classic, Vogue VS and Vogue VSO road race frames plus an Audax Roadmaster and a fixed gear frameset due for release shortly. All frames include forks and headsets with prices stating at £1,395 for the fixed gear model.

The Passion (above) is made from triple-butted Dedacciai SAT 14.5 tubes that are TIG welded. Duell reckon it’s a very stable and reliable ride. The price of the frame with Deda carbon forks is £1,499 while the Passion Classic with an Easton SL90 carbon fork is £1,699.

The Vogue is described as ‘the ultimate Duell road racing bike frame’. Again, it’s custom-made from steel, this time using Dedacciai EOM 16.5 tubing that’s triple butted. The walls are extremely thin in the centre sections of the tubes – as low as to 0.4mm in the middle of the down tube.

The price for a Duell Vogue VS frame with a Deda Black Fin carbon fork is £1,895 while the Vogue VSO with extra oversized head tube and Deda Black Fin carbon fork is £1,995.

The frames are available now from Bikesales4u.
