Yeah yeah yeah. We know, we said Friday and now it's Tuesday. But we wanted this schwagger to sneak over the 1,000 mark so we could all give ourselves a pat on the back for being popular. You'd have been forgiven for not noticing that Liquigas-Cannondale were in the Tour de France in week one, given how quiet they were, but Basso's been bringing it a bit more in the second week and as they approach the decisive stages he's well placed in seventh, seven seconds behind Alberto Contador.
