Velocity OutfitPolaris go retro for 2013
It looks like Polaris are going retro for 2013 with these crochet mitts. The mitts aren’t available yet but they just sent us through a pic of things to come.
Back in the olden days you could spot a cyclist at 50 yards in the summer thanks to the distinctive round tan marks on the back of the hands. Then you knew it was safe to approach and strike up a conversation about gear inches, leg shaving and so on.
There are quite a lot of crochet mitts still out there, of course, but Lycra and other synthetics have largely taken over.
Anyway, Polaris are bringing them back. These match Polaris’s existing Velo City jersey. This is polyester with a YKK zip and it comes in a performance fit for £44.99.
Polaris aren’t giving away any more details of their 2013 retro range just yet, but for full details of the products that are already out there head over to www.polaris-apparel.co.uk.
