The dhb women's Blok Superstar long sleeve jersey is a stunning looking piece of clothing that performs admirably too. The stars and stripes design will certainly get you noticed and is probably not one for those who like a more restrained look when they're out cycling.

The jersey is aimed at road cyclists, whether you are doing it for fun or racing. Dhb claim that their Blok range will 'get you noticed on the road'. The Blok Superstar lived up to this claim as it was admired by more than one other cyclist when I was out and about. The design and colour scheme stand out and shout to be noticed. The turquoise stars against the black and the fluorescent zip detailing bring the jersey to life.
It has a fleece polyester fabric which (as expected) wicks away sweat like any regular jersey. The fleece factor gives it an extra thickness making it perfect for long winter rides. The fit is true to form and sits close to your body. This definitely means there is less bulk around the mid section, making for a more comfortable ride.

The sleeves are elasticated, but a smooth elastic finish rather than a ruche, means they sit perfectly agains the wrist and don't irritate. It has a drop tail rear with a gripper edge that happily stayed in place as I rode along.
At the rear it has the three standard pockets, plus one extra (over the middle pocket) with a zipper. The two side pockets are smaller than the middle one, making them ideal for a water bottle etc. The middle one is bigger and held my rain jacket with ease and my phone in the zipper pocket (which would hold any larger than standard smartphone). All the pockets have a good amount of stretch.

Working hard on the uphills and enjoying the wind on the downhills, I felt the jersey preformed well. It kept me cool when I needed it to and wicked my sweat away, then kept me warm at the right moments. The full length YKK aids cooling down and warming up when you want to.
Verdict
High-performance jersey that gets compliments on its striking looks
