If you're looking for a warm, long-sleeved women's jersey that's been made in Britain and won't break the bank, the Lusso Layla Long Sleeved Jersey is definitely one to consider. It looks good, does the job well, and should get plenty of use.
Our Lusso Layla came in 'suits-everyone' black with lilac accents, including some rather fetching dots. It is also available in classic Italian pink, which may be more of a Marmite affair. The overall effect is understated but playful, and is unlikely to offend anyone (well, the pink version might).

Not the heaviest of winter jerseys, using fleecy-backed high-wicking MT.1 fabric, it can easily be layered up in colder conditions with either a baselayer underneath or a gilet or jacket over the top. Or both. This makes it more versatile than heavier weight winter jerseys, which can often just miss being genuinely useful a lot of the time.
There's a full length YKK zip, three rear pockets including a zipped one just about large enough for a smaller smartphone, reflective trim at the rear, and a hem gripper tape all the way around.
The fit was on the neat side (that's not me in the photos), with a size large being closer to most other brands' mediums, but the good quality fabric did make that less of a problem than it could have been, particularly if aero is what you're looking for.
On the plus side, it is available in sizes up to XXL which would roughly equate to a UK 16-18 in real terms. There's good length in the body and arms, and the neck is snug without risk of strangling.

The fabric definitely lived up to its promise of moisture transfer and allowed for a good, stable body temperature and no excess sweatiness, even when working hard or overestimating how cold the temperature actually was. This makes it a great jersey for the majority of winter conditions, and for spring and autumn use too.
Price-wise it sits in the lower middle for long-sleeved jerseys, and as such makes for very good value for money, especially when you consider it's made in the UK.
Verdict
Looks good, performs very well and is made in the UK – a good value for money buy
