The jersey is available in this pleasing greeny turquoise colour, pink or black, and each colourway features the same graphic design as the matching bib shorts, which is a nice touch.
Visually, it's a very attractive top and that's backed up by plenty of features – silicone hem gripper, three rear pockets with a small zipped pocket, reflective accents and a full length front zip. The fit is on the relaxed side rather than racy, and the fabric is soft to the touch and a flattering weight and density.
I thought the fit of the jersey was great, with plenty of length in the torso. However, the design of the sleeve cuffs with seams (rather than laser cut) meant that larger than average biceps were distinctly squeezed (it's not me in the photos). The neck had the opposite problem, though, being slightly loose and baggy, and rather spoiled the overall aesthetic.
Setting those minor niggles aside, out on the bike it was very comfortable, with the fabric performing very well at keeping moisture moving away from the body. The fabric is slightly denser and therefore warmer than many summer-weight jerseys, but for the majority of UK summer conditions, it's just fine. This also increases the jersey's usefulness, making it appropriate for spring and autumn too. Paired up with some arm warmers it would be good for slightly chillier rides too.
At this price it sits squarely in the mid-range for jerseys, and as such it's pretty good value for money, even with those minor niggles. There's nothing particularly outstanding about it, but it does a fine job.
Comfortable, stylish and cost effective, and looks great with the matching shorts and gloves
