The ankle cuffs are made using soft supple leathers and reflective bead technology fabrics in a choice of several different colours and, sometimes, patterns. The result is a reflective cuff with more than a hint of rock chick attitude. These elevate the nerdy trouser clip and offer reflectivity, and therefore additional safety, coupled with a little bit of style. A winning combination as far as I’m concerned. They do reflect effectively as well, not just a token gesture.

The broad designs (£19) are more flamboyant and work best with trousers, whereas the slimmer cuff works well even on bare ankles, or around cycling tights. Either can be adjusted for wear as a wrist adornment if you like. Neither rubs unduly thanks to the good finish and soft leather, and both are adjustable for a good fit for most sizes of ankle.

The press studs that secure them are high quality, like the rest of the materials, and they're easy to use. They're made of brass so won't rust.

With cool looks and the bonus of added safety, these are a quirky and fashionable gift option, or you could buy yourself one in every colour. Just because you can.

Designed to be trouser clips with a difference, adding reflectivity and style as well as protecting your trousers from the chain etc. Also look good off the bike.
