Fetcheveryone.com kicks Strava and Garmin Connect into the long grass in terms of usability, usefulness and friendliness IMHO and takes uploads from all the major GPS formats.
Stanley, I won't be following you.
You're on your own after that wrong turn a while back - you were too busy staring at that little screen on your stem.
Software, schmuck-ware...
Having researched GPS recently, and from what I've read in terms of software support, it's unlikely that Garmin are likely to be kicking anyone anywhere, with the exception of their customers in the teeth.
But you are definitely another reason to go with Mio.
Garmin couldn't kick their customers in the teeth....it'd take too long for them (Garmin) to find them...judging by my steam powered 500 and it's total inability to 'warm up' and find satellites until a) it's been switched on and left out on my doorstep for 5 minutes or b) I'm already 1.2 kms down the road....
Awful spelling, punctuation and general tone of post aside, the issue for me is that my friends, many who just use their phones, are on Strava. I have a Garmin and a Connect account, but they're not there. So I'll stay with Strava. It's like the huge issue Google have had with Google+: what use is a new Social Network when all your friends (your real ones) are already on Facebook and using it for social things?
It would be a tremendous help if you could actually spell the brand you are trying so hard to endorse.
True, true. Throwing in the odd punctuation mark or capital letter might have helped or, on second thoughts, not.
