Man charged in connection with Berkshire cyclists' deaths

31-year-old to appear before magistrates tomorrow on charges including causing death by dangerous driving

A man has been charged with causing the death by dangerous driving of two cyclists in the Berkshire village of Purley on Thames on Thursday evening.

Alexander Farrar Walters, aged 31 and of Beech Road, Purley on Thames, has also been charged with aggravated vehicle-taking, driving while disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.

He will appear at Reading Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Monday 17 February.

The cyclists have been named as John Moorland, aged 30, and Kris Jarvis, aged 39.
