Danny MacAskill Plays Cape Town.pngDanny MacAskill heads to Cape Town for latest film (+ video)
Scottish stunt supreme Danny MacAskill is back with a new video, this time showcasing his trials skills around the South African city of Cape Town.
If you’ve seen his previous films, including the one shot in Edinburgh that catapulted him to fame via YouTube, you’ll know what to expect – some top-notch bike-handling skills and at times jaw-dropping stunts.
As usual, the six and a half minute film is beautifully shot, and combines MacAskill showing his stuff on the city’s streets before heading out to the surrounding coastline to try some tricks among the boulders and rocks on the coast.

Massively impressed as always with Danny's riding, but I wasn't moved by this video. The cinematography, music, and editing aren't a patch on his last production (that really was perfection!).
Maybe that rear mech is simply a chain tensioner...
Meant to ask... What goes on at the rear mech on these trials bikes? Not fixed - can freewheel - but also pedal backwards? What's that all about?
Danny is the man for this sort of thing! I can just about manage a bunny hop onto a kerb - sometimes!
