Register NOW for the 12th Annual Brake the Cycle of Poverty for Friend, Inc. Community Services. This is one of the most important (and fun) events of the year supporting the variety of programs assisting those most in need. The event features four routes that offer something for everyone, from weekend warriors to hard-core endurance cyclists. All four rides feature breath-taking views, rolling hills, winding backroads, best-in-class SAG support and well-marked roads with the two longer rides incorporating a number of challenging hill climbs.
4 breathtaking courses: The 62 mile Metric Century offers a ride through all 4 covered bridges in Berks County, a 40 mile rolling hills ride that crosses two covered bridges, one with 25 miles of winding backroads, and a flat 10 mile easy scenic ride perfect for beginners and families too.
