Rather artistic photo of this (driverless) car that has ended up on its roof on a dead straight road in Bradford.

No reference to a driver or even a passenger - the nearest is "The police have confirmed that no injuries were reported due to the collision."
At 2.30pm on Saturday a small hatchback car "came to rest on its side in a precarious position" near the hamlet of Ratlinghope on the west side of the Long Mynd. Three occupants "were escorted out of it". No photo, I'm afraid.
Trying to create a new LTN in Bristol: Bizarre parking on West Country street as Audi mounts parked car
Onlookers were left scratching their heads

The cars aren't just self-aware now - they're starting to breed.
Egged on by the others, the youngest of the Audis makes the first move.Young and hopeful, it moves in to strike, however youth and inexperience play against the youngling. It attempts it's first mounting maneouvre, relying on it's target not being able to move out of the way, but clearly has no idea how to do the deed.

Driver injured after car flips onto its roof

Surprising- Honda drivers are usually careful, although prone to confuse the brake and accelerator in EVs and smashing down the public toilets (I actually saw this happen here).Â

A classic! Featuring:
I do have some sympathy with "someone gave humans a powered vehicle that could go faster than 5mph, what do you think will happen?" But I'm gonna guess it's not really the road...
Also "waiting for insurance company" - shades of the urban horse-transport crisis of the 19th century where horses rotted in the streets awaiting insurance confirmation that they had actually died in harness...

Mother and child escaped unharmed; unclear who was driving.
I cycled past a flipped car last night on Cranbrook Rd, Bristol but it doesn't seem to be reported anywhere. Quite impressive as it was fully on its roof and a whole section of the road was closed.
Meanwhile we have this one on the M32: https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/live-m4-traffic-car-overturns-9676596

Hmm, loses points for not being on its roof. But gains quite a few for being a driverless car, in a 20mph, and a very artistic placement on top of a roundabout, with three wheels in the air. A very good effort.
Seconding the little onion - I think there should be both a "fully inverted" score AND "artistic merit" also. This one reminds me of those planes on roundabouts taking to the air near centres of production e.g. Grangemouth (beside road but good swoop) or Thornaby.
There's definitely a point or two to be had for "how on Earth did he manage that??" in the positioning.Â

Full marks here! It's an absolute mystery why this driverless vehicle has ended up on its roof on a wide, straight, 30mph road.
Excellent! Everyone is baffled and can only state what they see (apart from the police, who reported a RTC).

Car flips onto roof in crash with 3 parked vehicles near London Road, Sheffield
Another car flips after colliding with parked cars. Something has to be done about this parked car menace!

Another I'd missed last month:
On Saughton Road. 30mph limit, daylight, only mention of drivers was out of concern for their wellbeing at the end.
Because putting "busy roads" and schools adjacent goes together like a high-horsepower carriage.
Festival Way flipped car sparking calls for improvements
Car on side, I'm guessing a 30mph limit, no mention of the driver. I make that three points. Do I get an extra point for the article blaming the parked car for the crash?Â
