Awesome stickers update: they sold out, more on the way... plus get free ones!

Everyone feels like sharing the love this week, it seems...

Well, we weren't expecting that. We printed 500 of the Stay awesome stickers because we thought it'd be a laugh. but we sold them all within about three hours, and the orders keep on coming. So we've printed a bunch more, and all orders should be fulfilled next week.

Obviously they touched a nerve, and serendipity struck when TfL decided at the same time as they arrived that maybe the 'Cyclists stay back' ones weren't such a good idea anyway; the end result of all that is that we've sold far more of them than we ever expected to, or have the capacity to send out in short order. Bear with us though, we'll be working through the mountain of orders next week to get them sent. Our second batch should arrive Wednesday. You can buy them in the road.cc shop.

Get free ones!

We've made a bit of money on the stickers because we didn't expect to sell them all, and we priced them accordingly. We'll be putting some of that money towards subsuidising some events we've got planned in the not-too-distant future, and we'll also be using some of it to get some window stickers done, as requested by road.cc users.

On top of that we've done a couple of thousand business-card-sized ones (85x55mm) which look like this:

The business card ones crop down to 45mm width if you want to fit them on a (wide-ish) mudguard and they're FREE to whoever wants one. Just send a stamped, addressed envelope to:

road.cc
The South Vaults
Green Park Station
Bath BA11JB

and we'll bung a load your way when they arrive next week.

As I don't have mudguards because they are ridiculously uncool and unecessary extra weight, I wonder if I might have about a dozen of the business card sized ones to put in my spokes to make me sound like a motorbike and thereby increase both my visibility and audibility (if that's a word)?

Mine arrived on Saturday.
At the very least it'll help identify the dickheads a lot more easily.

Er, Dave Haygarth, nobody driving behind you is actually going to see that. I have, however, seen this one on the back of a rucksack and also a saddlebag.

I don't think it is actually an official TfL/ Mayor of London sticker though!

Great job! I suspect this column may have helped the sales http://www.theguardian.com/environment/bike-blog/2014/jun/26/cyclist-sta...
