A cyclist in Birmingham led the chase of a runaway sheep on Saturday morning - and captured the pursuit on camera.
The animal was running along the road near the Edgbaston cricket ground, initially with the flow of vehicles but then crossing into oncoming traffic, thankfully without injury.
With the cyclist continuing to ride after it and joined by others, including a motorbiker and people on foot including a policeman, the sheep took to a pavement before ending up in a park where it was rounded up.
YouTube user KindnessArk, who posted the footage, wrote: "Would Ewe believe it!? This Saturday morning witnessed this sheep running past my house. (Must of been Shaun The Sheep performing his next big film.)
"Soon hopped onto my bicycle to try and see if I could help stop him before causing a possible crash, as many drivers were braking heavily unaware and shocked of a sheep on the roads.
"With the help of locals walking nearby, police, and even a motorbiker we all managed to save the Sheep before anything happened."
There's no word of whether the sheep was offered a lift home on the bike - although as this video we shared last week shows, it's entirely possible to ride a bike with two of the creatures hangimg on to you.

He had a perfect opportunity around 2:15 in the video to use his bike to pen it in behind the guard rails, with the other guy coming down the road behind the sheep. They'd have had it, no bother
How on earth did a sheep end up in Edgbaston, other than on a plate?
at the end, is the bloke in the shell-suit carrying a shepherd's crook?
Hate getting news in the wrong order, surely this should have been before the video of the bloke then carrying the sheep away on his bike.
